(Dagbladet): Next year there are 40 years since the first film adaptation of the play “Journey to the Christmas Star” premiered at Norwegian cinemas.
Since then, the adventure film has become an important tradition for many Norwegians – especially thanks to NRK, who sent holiday classic every Christmas Eve since 1994.
70 of the film is still as popular, but how does it really gone with the actors?
Older gang
There is no reason to hide under a chair that several of the contributing have been bigger older. Some of them have passed away.
Some have had award winning actress careers by “Journey to the Christmas Star,” others have done other things.
Hanne Krogh (59) was only 19 when she appeared in the role of Sonja, the adult version of the princess Gulltopp, which disappear from the castle on Christmas Eve.

Dead at the scene
Just Nilsen was one of Norway’s leading cabaret performers, and was particularly known for his ability as imitator.
