(Page2): Astrid S released the new single “Hyde” for about a week ago, and now also the video ready. The song is produced by the Lido, and the video is recorded in Iceland. And as Father writes – this could be an advertisement for the saga island romantic destination, had it not been for the dark undertones.
– Hyde is a song I wrote after reading the book Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. It is about how you can become another person by being doped, full – or even love. Without being aware of it, says Astrid to the website.
The video is directed by Hörður Sveinsson and Helgi Jóhannsson, and is lovely in the play of light and camera angles. But anyway – and therefore -smått uncomfortable in text references and purples.
Astrid S recently won award as the year’s Norwegian artist at the MTV EMA, and are among the nation’s most sought after.
