Rupert Murdoch, executive chairman of News Corporation , which owns The Times, is engaged to 25 years younger Jerry Hall.
The couple have been together for four months, writes Daily Mail.
According to the newspaper the couple were engaged this weekend, but there was no call to look at Halls finger when the couple walked up the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Monday night Norwegian time.
Invalid Jagger-marriage
The upcoming wedding will be Murdoch’s fourth and Halls first.
She and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger married in an unofficial ceremony in Bali in 1990, but the marriage was declared invalid when the pair parted in 1999 after 20 years as a couple.
Both Hall and Murdoch have children on their own sides:
Hall and Jagger have children Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger, while Murdoch’s father to Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch.
Model Daughters
Like his mother, both Elizabeth and Georgia Jagger pursued a model career. At Murdoch page also features several of the children followed in the footsteps of father Rupert and have high positions in several media corporations.
Murdoch was in 2011 involved a major press scandal, as several of the newspapers he owns was exposed to eavesdropping in the UK, which among other things resulted in the closure of the tabloid News Of The World.
