Wenche Myhre and Admiral P had to break into “Every time we meet” -house – kjendis.no

(Dagbladet): – He’s just a lovely guy, that, says Wenche Myhre (68) to Dagbladet.

The beloved singer had never greeted at hip hop artist Philip Boardman (33), better known by his stage name Admiral P, for recording TV 2 program “Every time we meet” in the summer.

The ten days long tv-stay would prove to be the start of a friendship between Myhre and Boardman. At the press event in Oslo boast the two glibly of each other.

– Open and pleasant

– I did not think we would associate such close ties that we have done. Wenche is a very nice and open lady, and it was exciting to hear everything she has experienced, says Admiral P Dagbladet.

– Philip is a magnanimous guy with lots of heart. We changer many stories together, and got very good contact, says Myhre.

And it was especially at night, when the recordings were done, that the two different music profiles developed a friendship.

– I’m a nocturnal animals, and even if the recordings were finished as late as one, I could not sleep. I can not lie down right after performances, I have to downshift, Myhre says and continues:

– Philip and Unni (Wilhelmsen, journ. Amn) always sat up and took a cigarette. So I was often sitting outside with them and chat. The time could be two or three.

Locked out

Both recalls one evening which was slightly unexpected. After sitting in the upper middle of the night, they discovered suddenly that the main door to the house was locked.

– I went in to grab something, and so that the whole house was dark. We did not come in, says Boardman.

33-year-old tried to open several windows without success. Then came Myhre rescue.

– Wenche pushed me aside and got up a window. She felt that she had done this before, he says and laughs.

– I just stabbed my hand and pry it up, I, Myhre continues.

“Jump up!”

Subsequently, Admiral P “ordered” to climb into .

– “You have long legs, jumping up,” I said. He came close to collapsing in laughter. It was very comical, says Myhre, who describes the overall experience of “Every time we meet” as follows:

– It’s a very strange feeling that way in mid-life, to be allowed to oppelve something so again. You just have to give a little hen, because you’ve got no choice. And when you notice that the people who are with and what respect they get, so you relax, she says.

The fifth season of “Every time we meet” premieres tonight, and along with Myhre, Boardman and Wilhelmsen will also Jørn Hoel, Henning Kvitnes, Eva Weel Skram and Ravi interpret each other’s songs.

Eva Weel Skram was mom for the first time on Tuesday but appeared still sporty into the press meeting on Friday morning.

– It’s a bit like sports, but I have it very nice, said the artist told Dagbladet.
