(Page2): In June it was announced that Ivar Dyrhaug had decided to leave Beat for Beat, a program which he has headed since 1999.
Now his successor ready, and the election has fell on musician Atle Pettersen.

– It is absolutely insane. It is less than one year ago I was invited to be a presenter in Christmas Morning, and now I’m going into the row of gold. It is amazingly large, says Atle Pettersen told NRK.
Pettersen says the online newspaper that he wants to treat the popular program with respect, but also bring something of themselves. What is “new” is, he does not know yet.
Want to bring something new
– This is very fresh for me too, and I’ve barely begun with job Inga. We will not change much on the concept, but i wanted to use my strengths and qualities to bring something new. But exactly what it is, I do not know yet.
Pettersen has been a familiar face after he participated in the X Factor on TV 2 in 2010. He has also participated in, and won, Shall we dance and was also a participant in NRK Star Game.
Dyrhaug will continue to lead the last eight episodes of Beat for Beat. Although he told in June that he was not afraid of what happens to Beat for Beat after he relinquishes question cards.
