“Shall We Dance” -Egor: – I am accused of something I think I have not done – VG

You mean drunk driving is unacceptable

In an email interview with Dagbladet writes Filipenko that it was totally unacceptable to be so intoxicated that he was the current January evening and that this is something he is ashamed of.

– As father of young children, I take strong distance from driving while intoxicated, a position I have always had. I am accused of something I think I have not done, and that’s why I let the Norwegian legal system determine this. Should I be judged, I still think that driving while intoxicated is totally unacceptable and something I deeply deplore, writes Filipenko.

Earlier this week was VG in contact with the communications manager in TV 2, Jan-Petter Dahl, who stressed that Filipenko had been open about what has happened.

– This matter should be dealt with by the courts later this fall, and it’s not TV 2′s mission to prejudge, he said.

Will consider case by right treatment

For Dagbladet says communications manager that the incident took place at a period when Filipenko had no contract with the production company Monster, which produces “Shall We Dance.”

– When Filipenko was relevant as a judge in this year’s “Shall We Dance”, he decided to be completely open with both manufacturing company Monster and TV 2 surrounding the incident. We keep ourselves constantly informed about developments in the case, says Dahl.

Communications boss says that TV 2 has appointed Filipenko on the basis of his background as a professional dancer, and that the channel will make several reviews of the case when it is processed in court.
