Stieg Larsson died in 2004 and is the author David Lagercrantz, the man behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘autobiography, who has written the new book.
Brandén and Lindblom calls the book a grave looting of Larsson’s universe.
– With the release of the new Millennium The book assumes commercialization of Stieg’s lifework pure circus-like levels. The whole circus becomes a mockery of human Stieg, who deeply resented our commercialized society, they write in the post.
New history
Stieg Larsson died in 2004 and left behind four screenwriters: One completed two virtually finished, and one half-baked. The first three, Millennium series, was released and got tremendous success.
Larsson’s surviving partner Eva Gabrielsson would not give out the fourth script, nor in processed form, and thus it is David Lagercrantz and imprint loose on a whole new story.
– What I wanted to do is to apply the mythology and the world as Stieg Larsson left behind, has Lagercrantz previously stated to Dagens Nyheter.
– Just the idea that Stieg would have accepted any one he himself would begin to write new books with his own characters, distorted, writes childhood friends in debate post.
– Catastrophic mismanagement
Stieg Larsson’s father and brother owns the rights to the new book. Brandén and Lindblom believes the exclusively economic motives.
– We claim that the reason for their disastrously poor management of Stieg’s surviving works, and that the so disrespectfully treated his love Eva Gabrielsson, is that they reason not known Sieg as a person, they write.
Childhood friends quit statement were the following call:
– No outside Stieg can write the sequel to his fictional world. Let Stieg authorship rest in peace, also his characters.
