Here are this year’s Shall We Dance judges – TV 2

The eleventh season of success program Shall We Dance premieres on TV2 Saturday August 29th.

This round takes Egor Filipenko risen from danseparketten to judge table.

– This is a completely new role for me, and I am very excited! I am incredibly happy to get this chance, says Filipenko.

From dancing to judge

Filipenko has been included in “Shall we dance “as a dancer for seven seasons and won both with Hanne Sørvaag and Agnete Johnsen. The experienced dancer knows what he is looking for at this year’s dansepar.

– I will look for those who work hard, have progression and a desire to win. I’m going to be very honest in my feedback, saying Filipenko.

This week he became father for the second time.

– There goes very good with us, and I love to be family man, says Filipenko.

– Honest and constructive

Merete Lingjærde is also new in “Shall We Dance” -sammenheng. She has to be the judge in three seasons of “So You Think You Can Dance” in Norway and Scandinavia, and is pro-rector of the Art Academy in Oslo. She is also head of one of dance training at the same school, and is artistic director of Oslo Dance Ensemble.

– It is a very exciting task to be the judge, and I’m really looking forward to use my knowledge and guide the participants as well as I can in the fall. I’m going to give constructive, honest and direct feedback, says Lingjærde.

Judge for the eleventh time

Trine Dehli Cleve has been a judge in all seasons of Shall We Dance. She has competed as a professional dancer, and is four times world champion and five times European champion.

– I look forward just as much to Shall We Dance every year and look forward to working together with Merete and Egor. Merete has an incredible eye for dance and movement, and have the experience as a judge earlier. So even though she’s new in Shall We Dance, she is not new to the task. It is also exciting that Egor, with so much dance experience, jumping straight from dancing shoes and into the judge’s chair. I think we have three going to complement each other well in autumn judge panel.

Judge trio will leave with the various guest judge on the team during the autumn. This year’s participants in Shall We Dance is: Katarina Flatland, Samuel Massie, Pascal, Gunvor Hals, Gitte Witt, Stian “Staysman» Torbjørnsen, Gro Helen Tørum, Christopher Mørch Husby, Adele, Mads Kaggestad, Ida Maria and PelleK.
