Skofterud will fight for two reality contests – VG

Vibeke Skofterud (35) would not only test themselves in “Masters champion.” Now she namely also push the limits in TV3′s new reality program “rudeness”.

We’ve already NRK “Masters champion” and TV2′s “Best of the best.” Now fold TV3 itself in the battle for television viewers with its new concept, “rudeness”.

The program manager Ailo Gaup should push twelve famous athletes through an extreme strength and utholdenshetsløp over 20 days Norway’s own extreme terrain, Stryn. During the barely three weeks, they find out who has the greatest physical capacity, the coldest head and the baddest beast in itself.

Blood, sweat and tears

– “rudeness” stand out from similar concepts in that we are looking to get participants to bring out their inner brutality. We will witness a bunch of people pushing themselves physically and mentally, so hard and brutally viewers about getting blood, sweat and tears spurting out of the TV screen to fall, says press officer Andreas Framnes about the program, and continues:

– All participants are either active or recently active athletes, and we are looking to find the person who defies pain, discomfort and psychological obstacles – who have the will, or the brutality that is needed to win autumn’s by far the most fierce competition.

Cross-country runner Vibeke Skofterud are among this year’s participants in NRK’s ”Masters champion,” and she will not stop with just one leg tough reality program. She is also among those who will participate in the first round of “rudeness”.

Tests own borders

– “Masters champion” I’ve been asked several times, but then I have been active as it has not been appropriate. So was asked whether I would be at the “rudeness” and the concept appealed to me very. Such things are not helped when one is active, and while I think it seemed fun so I wanted to say yes. Then came “Masters champion” as well, and since the two not crashed so I could be involved in both. I crave things that push me outside your comfort zone, says Skofterud VG.

– How would you say that the two concepts differ from each other?

– Competition Reality is in the wind at the moment. It is quite evident. Based on what I’ve seen there are two very different concepts. “Rudeness” is part rougher. They managed to set the bar so extremely high, so high that it is the hair that you are getting completed task. You really got to test your limits, and to a greater extent than it appears that one does in “Masters champion.”

More tough competitors

Skofterud like to test new things and happy things that are outside your comfort zone. Therefore she hopes she gets tested themselves and their boundaries in TV3′s new program.

– I love the big challenges and pushing myself. I would also get as far away from my comfort zone as possible, and see what I can handle. And then there is the social aspect which is also nice. Although there are quite a few different sports we have been doing, then we’re probably pretty similar.

35-year-old believes that she is its biggest competitor, but she has a couple of names she believes will be challenging to compete against.

– Thea Naess and Kai Robin Havnås is both the trained and versatile. It can be tough to beat. But everyone has enough their things they are good at, so it’s hard to say.

Skofterud should of course not fight alone, and among the rest of the participants we find both a ski jumper , a boxer, one snowboarder, an ice hockey plays a kickboxer, a handball player and a swimmer. To mention a few.
