Jo Nesbø fear the same may happen with book writing.
SEOGHØR.NO: The Norwegian author Jo Nesbø (55) is one of the world’s most successful within the crime genre.
Previously, he was also a songwriter for the band di derre. Dagbladet Plus he tells why he stopped writing music.
Asked by the newspaper about what it is that drives him, he replied the following:
– The fact that I still has more stories to tell. With di derre I stopped writing songs that day I would write a song, but realized that I had written the same song before. Then I thought that I had more to contribute.
Nesbø fear that the same could happen with book writing.
– Yeah, well the simple answer to it . Then I have to find a new job and I find it hard to believe that I can find a cooler job than this, he said.
