TV and pop star Cilla Black is dead – Sunnmørsposten

Black, whose real name is Priscilla Maria Veronica White, died at his home near Marbella in Spain, according to Spanish police. So far, suggesting nothing that activities have occurred.

Black was helped up and out of The Beatles’ legendary manager Brian Epstein in the 60s. She started to work in The Cavern Club, where the Beatles were discovered, before she even entered the stage as a singer on contract under Epstein.

The singer released her first single in 1963, before she year topped the charts in UK with the songs “You’re My World” and “Anyone Who Had a Heart”. She has released 14 albums.

Black started TV career with her own talk show in 1968. Over half a century, she has been among the most popular faces in British television.
